On 29 August 2022, World Water Week started it’s work in Stockholm, Sweden. It is organized by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) annually.
The theme of this year’s World Water Week is “Seeing the Unseen: The Value of Water” with a focus on different aspects of water, how others view and value water, and exploring the full value of water to society. For the first time, the conference will be hybrid, allowing delegates to join online and in person in Stockholm.
World Water Week is organized at social, political and economic levels to provide a platform to bring together experts, professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, academia, industries and countries to develop solutions to water-related problems.

Using the platform of the World Water Week, Tajikistan is organizing an exhibition and various joint events with the Kingdom of the Netherlands as part of the preparatory process for the UN 2023 Water Conference, including a special high-level session entitled “Preparing for an inclusive and action-oriented UN 2023 Water Conference”, informal discussion: “Coffee in the Park”, talk show: “The road to the UN 2023 Conference”, bilateral and multilateral meetings.
