On 12 October 2023, the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Water and Climate Coalition Leaders, Mr. Sulton Rahimzoda, took part in the High-Level Dialogue of the Second Stakeholder Consultative Meeting of the 10th World Water Forum in Bali, Indonesia.

In his speech, Mr. Sulton Rahimzoda noted the importance of the political process of the 10th World Water Forum in focusing on the political aspect and strengthening actions to further strengthen the position of water in the global development agenda.
Mr. Rahimzoda emphasized that the UN Water Conference, bringing together member states, UN agencies, international organizations, financial institutions, civil society and other stakeholders, emphasized that the global water cycle is a global common good, and better understanding, management, protection of water resources for the benefit of all and for shared prosperity is the responsibility of the global community. Mr. Rahimzoda expressed confidence that the 10th World Water Forum will be a good opportunity to consolidate the results of the UN 2023 Water Conference in shaping global water policy and actions for many years to come.
The second consultative meeting will last two days and provide an opportunity for stakeholders to engage in discussions on policy, and thematic and regional preparatory processes, plan the Forum week with concrete ideas, and plan further actions and shape the outcome of the Forum. Participants will also discuss follow-up activities that link political commitments and action plans based on updated programs and themes.
Representatives of the Government of Indonesia, the government of Bali, the board of the World Water Council, representatives of international and regional organizations, development partners and other interested parties take part in its work.
