Meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Second High-Level Conference on the International Decade “Water for Sustainable Development”

On 12 April 2022 a meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Second High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028, which will be held on 6-9 June 2022, was held in Dushanbe under the title ” Catalyzing water action and partnership at the local, national, regional and global levels”.

The meeting was chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Mr. Qohir Rasulzoda with the participation of the heads of relevant ministries and departments of the country.

During the meeting, issues of preparation related to the conference were discussed, including the conference program, action plan, format of participation, and other organizational issues.

Attention was also paid to the organization of various events within the framework of the conference, including the organization of an international exhibition, a water festival, a marathon, and excursions.

Following the meeting, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan gave relevant instructions to the ministries and departments of the country to prepare and hold the Second Dushanbe Conference on the Water Decade at a high level.
