1st Meeting of International Advisory Committee

The First meeting of the International Advisory Committee to the Dushanbe Water Process to promote the implementation of the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028 was held on 25 August 2019 in Stockholm, Sweden.

The meeting was called by the Government of Tajikistan to facilitate technical discussions in preparation of the Second High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028 (Water Action Decade), and around the importance of the Dushanbe Process, which is intended to serve as an interface between the existing technical and political platforms.

During the meeting, participants exchanged views on the preparatory process for the Second Dushanbe Conference and discussed the Structure and Content of the Conference.
